  • First of all, actually have a backup plan.

  • Make it automated.

When thinking about a backup strategy you have to consider how data and files are going to get to their backup destination. The days of your employees having to stop and save their work are over.   • Keep at least one backup offsite.

We use the “rule of three” when it comes to backups. This means that there are three copies of the data, with at least one of them stored offsite. This is so that if the primary site is damaged (for example a fire at the office), your data remains safe and secure.
